KS3

PE CURRICULUM

Our department aims to offer every child, regardless of ability equal opportunity in achieving his/her best.

We aim to offer a broad and balanced range of activities within the National Curriculum so that each pupil will be able to have a full and challenging experience.

The programme of study not only aims to enhance and develop the level of skill of pupils but to raise awareness of the underlying health benefits of an active lifestyle and the understanding of health and safety factors underpinning physical education.

KS3&4 have the opportunity of experiencing a wide range of activities based on the National Curriculum Programme of Study including: Football, Netball, Tag Rugby, Basketball, Swimming, Gymnastics, Dance, Trampolining, Badminton, Athletics, Rounders, Tennis, Cricket, Health, Exercise and Well-being (HEWB) and Outdoor Adventurous Activities (OAA)
