Ysgol Rhosnesni – Welsh Government Grants
The Pupil Deprivation Grant (PDG) is allocated to schools with pupils who come from low-income families and are currently known to be eligible for free school meals (e-FSM). There is also funding for those pupils who have been looked after by the Local Authority continuously for more than six months (LAC).
This grant is being used to ensure that the learning needs of some of the most vulnerable pupils in our school are met.
The Education Improvement Grant is allocated to schools to help improve standards of teaching and learning across the curriculum.
The Professional Learning Grant is allocated to schools to assist with the continued professional development of teaching and support staff. This will goes on to support improvements to the school curriculum that will inspire and motivate our pupils.
We have determined how the funding will be used, identifying ways of spending the money that will have the greatest impact on pupils. Please see further information in the document below:
