The Welsh Government has issued a directive to all schools in Wales instructing the addition of a further staff training day in the summer term. This is to allow all schools time to prepare for the introduction of the new Curriculum for Wales. After discussion with our Primary Cluster colleagues, we have decided that this additional day will be on Friday 17th July 2020.
Ysgol Rhosnesni students will now finish school for Summer on Thursday 16th July at 3pm and school will be closed on Friday 17th July 2020 to all students.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause to parents.

Student Safety – Vehicle Access
Please can we ask all parents to only enter the school grounds by car if essential. There is a speed limit of 5mph within the school grounds and entrances are very narrow, single file in some areas. The safety of our students and staff is paramount and we politely request that wherever possible you arrange a drop off/pick up point with your child away from the school entrance whilst taking into account the local residents and their access to their properties.
Students who cycle to school are reminded to bring their own lock to secure their bike during the day in the designated area at the front of school.
