Year 10

The Year 10 Media Course consists of introducing students to the main concepts of media theory and language and developing both their production and analytical skills. Pupils study three main topics for their Controlled Assessments and Final Examination: film, music and magazines. They also complete a mock exam. The course is made up from 60% Controlled Assessment and 40% External Exam.

 

Year 11

The Year 11 Media Course consists of introducing students to the main concepts of media theory and language and developing both their production and analytical skills. Pupils study three main topics for their Controlled Assessments and Final Examination: magazines, music and TV crime drama. They also complete a mock exam. The course is made up from 60% Controlled Assessment and 40% External Exam.
