Unit 1: Religion and Philosophical Themes

Part A: Beliefs, teachings and practices. 

All candidates will study the core beliefs, teachings and practices of Christianity and Judaism.

Part B: Philosophical themes (Life and Death + Good and Evil)

All candidates will study two philosophical themes from the perspective of Christianity and Judaism.

All candidates must also consider non-religious beliefs, such as those held by Humanists and Atheists.

 

Unit 2: Religion and Ethical Themes

Part A: Beliefs, teachings and practices. 

All candidates will study the core beliefs, teachings and practices of Christianity and Judaism.

Part B: Ethical Themes (Relationships + Human Rights)

All candidates will study two ethical themes from the perspective of Christianity and Judaism.

 

Assessment 

External examinations 100% of total mark.
