Pupils will develop knowledge, skills and understanding in the four following ‘Areas of Study’ –

  1. Popular Music – Handbags and Gladrags, Stereophonics
  2. Film Music
  3. Music for Ensemble
  4. Musical Forms and Devices – Abdelazer Suite:Rondeau, Henry Purcell

Pupils will complete two musical compositions; two performances to an audience and two extended pieces of writing based on their own performances.
