KS3 Overview
Our KS3 History curriculum has been completely redesigned to best fit our students’ needs and the Curriculum for Wales rolling out from September 2023. The History Learning Journey is designed to give students a breadth and depth of knowledge to help make them ethical and informed citizens of Wales and our world.
The History Department at Ysgol Rhosnesni High School is committed to ensuring that all students make excellent progress through experiencing excellent teaching which engages and motivates them to work hard and succeed. We value the place of History as an academic subject within the school curriculum and aim to equip our students with a range of skills that will prepare them for further study and life beyond school. We aim to instil in our students, a passion for learning, enquiry and investigation embedding the Statements of what Matters from the Curriculum for Wales.
